Tears To Come

There will be times when you and I ...Will sort of dis-
agree... And even times when you will wish ... You
had not married me ... And you will say some angry words
... And darling, so will I ...While either one or both
of us ... Will pout and start to cry ... But that is part of
married life... And that is in the cup... And what will
be the difference then ... As long as we make up? ... As
long as you and I embrace... And kiss the tears away...
And hold each other tenderly ... Until another day?...
The joy of married life is not... The sum of smiles and
tears ... But just the understanding love... That lasts
throughout the years
