One Day Worth While

If I may live just one more day... To do a little good...
For all the world in which I live... Or just my neighborhood
... To help some creature on his way... To guide him
through the night... Until at last his eyes behold...The
Everlasting Light... Until he recognizes God... And bows
before His throne... And knows that now without His grace
... He must be all alone... Then I will say unto myself...
This day was worth my while... For I have won a soul to
God... And I have shaped a smile... And as I strive to serve
Him with... My efforts toward this goal... May God for-
give my errors and... Have mercy on my soul.
