Idle Hands

Idle hands are useless hands... That turn no spinning wheel...
Idle hands are lazy hands ... That close no business deal...
They never seal a friendship or... Salute our country's flag ... They only
stop machinery ... And make production lag ... They do not seek
the begger's cup ... To drop a penny in ... And they are not the
upraised hands... That help some cause to win ... Idle hands are
foolish hands ... That never fold in prayer ... Or try to help the
crippled one ... With crutches or a chair... Their fruitfulness is
always at ... The very lowest level... Except as they are toiling in
... The workshop of the devil.
