I Want just You

What makes the sky so blue today?... Why is the sun so
bright?... It is because last evening, dear... You kissed
my lips goodnight... You held me in your loving arms...
You promised me the moon... You said it could not be right
now ... But it would be real soon... I do not doubt the
words you said... I know you are sincere... And that
is why my eyes behold... The sky so bright and clear...
I will be patient as the sprig... That only time can grow
... And all the while I wait for you... My heart will love
you so... But, darling, whether later on... Or whether it
be soon... I only long to hold your heart... I do not want
the moon.
