I Search For You

I dreamed of you with weary hands...And with my tired
feet...As I keep looking for your face...On every lonely
street...I walk upon the wharves at night...I watch the
sails at dawn...And in the dim horizon, dear...I know that
you are gone...I cannot find you in the woods...Or on the
prairies wide...Or any other place on earth...Where you
may choose to hide...Yes, you have disappeared from me...
Completely out of sight...And we may never meet again...
In darkness or in light...But always I shall search for you...
Wherever you may be...Because no other creature, dear...
Can mean so much to me.
