God, Give Us Reason

Help us O God, to follow You... In every way we know... But
let us not be narrow in... The judgement we bestow... In telling
others how to live... and what they ought to do... As all the
world strive to be...A little more like You... Indeed we
have no right to judge ... And often we are blind ...Whereas You
want our hearts to be ...Most tolerant and kind ...Help us, O
God, to keep our faith... Yet not to interfere... With those who
may think otherwise ... And may be quite sincere ...Help us to
mind our own affairs... And not be tempted now... To take that
narrow attitude... Of "holier than thou."
