Give Me Your Light

O, Lord, I need Your guiding light... To help me on my way
... Not only in the dark of night... But all throughout the
day...Because the sun can do no more... Than keep my
body warm... And lift my spirits up before... And after every
storm... It does not show me how to walk... Along the
proper path... Or try to teach my tongue to talk...Without
contempt or wrath... It has no power to reveal...My selfish-
ness to me... Or make me understand and feel... My human
frailty... And that is why, O Lord, I ask...Your guiding light
today... That I may do my every task... According to Your
way.
