Dawn Of The Year

The month of January is ... The dawning of the year ...
That starts another record book ... With pages white and clear
... It brings the chance to start anew ... And hope for better
breaks ... while striving hard to profit from ... Our previous
mistakes ... It is the dawn of brighter dreams ... We pray will
all come true ... With happiness and real success ... Beneath
a sky of blue ... So let us all begin again ... As ably as we can
... To live our lives for God and for ... Our every fellow man
... And let us not be negligent ... Or tardy on our way ...
That no tomorrow may become ... A wasted yesterday.
